We took the stage as a speaker at Devnot Developer Summit 2025. In our presentation "Security Shield with API Gateway: Real-World Scenarios of OAuth, JWT, and Rate Limiting," we demonstrated how API security translates from theory to practice through real-world examples.

DigitalCosmonot participated as a speaker at Devnot Developer Summit 2025, held on October 18, 2025, at Sheraton Grand Hotel in Istanbul. At one of Turkey's largest software developer summits, our session delivered by Selim Çalık provided deep technical insight focused on API security.
At the core of our presentation was the premise that API Gateway is not merely a routing and integration layer but a critical component of enterprise security architecture. We explored OAuth 2.0 authorization flows, JWT-based authentication mechanisms, and Rate Limiting strategies through real-world scenarios drawn from production environments, going well beyond theoretical frameworks.
Theoretical knowledge about API security is abundant, but the real challenges encountered in production environments are rarely covered in documentation. In our presentation, we deliberately focused on concrete scenarios rather than abstract concepts: a token leakage incident in a financial institution's OAuth flow, the performance trade-offs of Rate Limiting configuration on a high-traffic API, and common configuration mistakes in JWT validation were examined in depth.
Devnot Developer Summit brings together hundreds of developers, architects, and technical leaders as one of Turkey's most comprehensive software developer events. Addressing a critical topic like API security on this platform and receiving strong interest from participants once again reinforced DigitalCosmonot's technical authority in the industry. We extend our gratitude to the Devnot organizing team and all developers who attended our session.
